HRANITHERM 603.00 Transparent - EVA Hot Melt Adhesive Packaging: 20 kg

The transparent, unfilled hot melt adhesive based on EVA in granules is intended for the gluing of furniture edges. It is suitable for softforming applications and for IMA and HOMAG centers.

Examples of use:

• gluing of ABS edges with primer,
• gluing of laminated edges,
• gluing of veneered edges,
• gluing of PVC and PP edges,
• softforming applications.

Features:

The transparent hot melt adhesive Hranitherm 603.00 based on EVA is suitable for edge gluing through edgebanding processed with medium-high advances. It is also characterized by high thermal resistance, medium open time, and high strength of the glued joint. Also available in white color ( Hranitherm 603.01 ).

Application:

When using hot melt adhesive, observe the application temperature and check it regularly by measuring on the roller or nozzle.  The temperature indicated on the control panel of the Edgebanding machine may differ from the actual temperature. A lower adhesive temperature can affect its open time and consequently compromise the quality of the glued joint. At a higher temperature, the adhesive can degrade, which affects its color, viscosity, and adhesion. When edgebanding edges of various materials, it is recommended to regularly perform strength and quality tests of the banding. The recommended temperature of the environment and materials is
15–25°C.

Clean any adhesive residues on the furniture elements using Hraniclean 01 (08) . In the glue pots, use Jowat 236.50 .

Packaging and storage:

Store in the original container. If stored in closed containers in a cool, dry place at temperatures not exceeding 20°C, the shelf life is 24 months.
