Description

The unfilled transparent hot melt adhesive based on EVA in granules is intended for the bonding of furniture Edgebanding. It is suitable for softforming applications and for IMA and HOMAG centers.

Examples of use:

  • bonding of ABS Edgebanding with primer,
  • bonding of laminate Edgebanding,
  • bonding of veneered Edgebanding,
  • bonding of PVC and PP Edgebanding,
  • softforming applications.

Features:

The transparent hot melt adhesive Hranitherm 600.30 based on EVA is suitable for the bonding of Edgebanding through processed edging with higher feed rates. It is characterized by high thermal resistance, short open time, and high strength of the bonded joint. Also available in white ( Hranitherm 600.31 ) and black (Hranitherm 600.39).

Application:

When using the hot melt adhesive, observe the application temperature and regularly check it by measuring on the roller or nozzle. The temperature indicated on the control panel of the edgebander may differ from the actual temperature. A lower adhesive temperature can affect its open time and consequently compromise the quality of the glued joint. At a higher temperature, the adhesive can degrade, affecting its color, viscosity, and adhesion. When edgebanding edges of various materials, it is recommended to regularly perform strength and quality tests of the banding. The recommended temperature for the environment and materials is
15–25°C.

Clean any adhesive residue on the furniture elements using Hraniclean 01 (08) . In the glue pots, use Jowat 236.50 .

Packaging and storage:

Store in the original container. If stored in closed containers in a cool and dry place at temperatures not exceeding 20°C, the shelf life is 24 months.
