Reactive PUR hot melt adhesive for the application of furniture Edgebanding on edgebanders.

FEATURES:

The slightly loaded hot melt adhesive Hranitherm 10.861 PUR in mini-cartridges is intended for bonding furniture Edgebanding on professional edgebanders. With this bonding method, a joint with high water and heat resistance is created. Excellent results with roller application.

APPLICATION:

When using hot melt adhesive, regularly check the application temperature by measuring on the roller or nozzle. The temperature indicated on the Edgebanding machine's control panel may differ from the actual temperature.

A lower adhesive temperature can affect its open time and consequently compromise the quality of the bonded joint. At a higher temperature, the adhesive can degrade, affecting its color, viscosity, and adhesion. When edgebanding edges of various materials, it is recommended to regularly perform tests on the strength and quality of the banding. The recommended temperature for the environment and materials is 15–25°C.

Clean the uncrosslinked adhesive residues on the furniture elements with Hraniclean 01 (08). In the melting system, use PUR 890 granulated cleaner to remove the glue.

PACKAGING AND STORAGE:

1 kg package of mini cartridges in aluminum foil. The validity period is 12 months from the date of production under optimal storage conditions (cool and dry; 15 - 25°C) in unopened packaging.
